Set the minimum throttle to 0% and the issue is still there. My heli's also suddenly developed a major case of the "helicopter wiggles", and the controls feel far too sensitive and quick all of a sudden. On top of that, I had just a moment ago the helicopter ping across an oil rig after landing for no apparent reason.
That being said, your helo shouldn't ever fly away on its own. If you're using collective through stabilized up/down on the gyro, you shouldn't zero out at zero, -.2 or -.4 is a good landing setting.
You probably have one or more the following issues:
- You are using collective to change the lift profile of your helicopter blades without stabilizing the RPS of your engine which causes instability.
- You haven't quite got the center of mass below the lift center (below props)
- You're putting too much power into the props without serious electronic stabilization work.
I have no idea what any of that means but I'll try my darndest! :)
If you feel like you have the time to check it out, here's a workshop link to the heli. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1948141607
Did that and now it isn't even taking off.
Here is the link to your heli, ive sorted the up and down for you, you had the right idea just slightly off.
so the rotor blade has to be set to neutral, and the gyro up/down output has to be connected to the collective on the Helicopter main rotor :)
i've added a throttle for you and bind it to number 1 to increase the throttle and Number 2 to decrease throttle, just wack it up to the max and then used up and down to increase or decrease altitude.
Also i fixed your door buttons because they were facing up, which i assume you did because you don't have 2 way buttons yet in career/survival mode :) i wired them up so that you can open/close inside and out of the craft and not have a giant hole in the door :p
hope this helps
the shaking is sometimes caused by the vehicle being too slim too, ive demonstrated this by putting some blocks on the side to balance it out a little and you will see that the shake has gone.
