Please remove the thunder sound effect until you have time for better sound design. It's super annoying.

Only hearing super loud thunder right above you is really annoying and makes me jump every time. I would've never expected it, but it genuinly destroys my enjoyment of the game whenever a storm is going on. It is suuuuuper annoying to me. Like...it drives me mad that I can't turn it off and I really don't want to play without sound enabled.

Until you have better sound design, please make this a toggle in the world creation menu.

EDIT: Okay my friend just told me how to do it. Doesn't satisfy me 100% because I want to keep rain on... but if It makes the game playable for me, then I'll go for it. Thanks for your answer.

It wouldn't hurt to have an adjustment specific to the lightning-clap effect. As it is now, the game should come with a warning:

"ATTENTION! Environmental effects in this game WILL spill coffee on your keyboard!!!"

There are times when I like it, and times when I don't. ...but agree, I like the challenge of the weather and don't want to turn off all storm/rain effects just to preserve my keyboard from a beverage bath.

It means that you can use the cumstom menu to override the weather with your own settings.
