Vehicle copy and paste
Is there any way to copy a vehicle (or part of a vehicle) and then paste that part onto another creation??? Like pasting a missile turret onto the deck of a boat???

on the top, there's a "selection grid" button. Enclose the part you want to copy in the grid (I usually give it +1 block, to get any logic connections that may stick out) and then use the icons to the left to cut/copy/paste, etc.
While there is an active selection (ie. cut or copied from the original position waiting to be pasted), it can be rotated/flipped by the j/k/l and u/i/o keys (like any other part).
Don't forget to merge the parts after pasting the selection.

I want to put stuff like escape pods and missiles on cool vehicles I've found but I couldn't find a copy and paste option

When it's enabled you can change the grid size* using the buttons that appear on the left edge and cut/copy/move those parts (almost) any way you like. You can also save a selection as a "vehicle" which you can then load and paste into your existing vehicles.
* you can also CTRL+click to set a 1x1x1 grid at the point where you clicked - in larger creations that's often easier than hunting for the grid and moving it around.
