1. Exit and save your game
2. Open AppData\Roaming\Stormworks\saves\ and find your savegame folder.
3. Edit the scene.xml file and change infinite_stock="false" to "true".
4. Reload your game and spawn the creation.
5. Exit and save again.
6. Edit that line back to "false".
7. Reload once more.
Voila! You have your creation with the deprecated items. Just make sure not to return it to the workbench or you'll be back where you started.
NOTE: Using this method will not charge you to spawn your vehicle. To minimize the impact of this, before starting the process above, spawn your vehicle. That will charge you for the items. Then return to workbench and exit to delete the vehicle. At that point, start the process and you'll not be charged a second time.
