custom fuel tank measurement?

How to measure fuel in custom tank?
I'm in career mode, so not sure what all the sensors all, i just get a few tilt, speed, distance, angular speed sensors to play with, is there a way to measure fuel with these, if not what sensr do i need?

On the fluid level sensor. There are two nodes. One shows fluid level. The other shows fluid capacity. Bam.

Or a very simple way would be to put a flat glass window on the side of your tank if you don't already have fluid sensors.

You need first to research the Fluid Management technology to unlock the fluid sensor DanDanAttack is talking about. At any rate you should have this technology researched if you intend to make custom tanks, since it gives you pumps and all.
