How do you make a nose for a plane
Hi Stormworkers,

My and my friend and trying to build a big cargo plane, but I can't manage to make the nose look right. At the moment its just a big cylinder without a nose on the front.

Can anyone give some tips on making a good plane nose?

Thanks in advance

Have something on the front of the nose the nose. Like an angular speed sensor.
A lot of plane nosecones aren't strictly ending to a point, they might be surprisingly wide or flat.

Nose design also really depends on what sort of a plane it is. A prop plane will have very different nose from a commercial jet which will have a very different nose from a jumpjet.

Practice.

try sketching the horizontal and vertical profiles and building off that

In adittion to the Horizontal and vertical profles it helps to plave ribs between them so you have a 3d model.
Try thinking in curves.

For instance use between angles or sloped blocks normal blocks with a frequency of 1, 2, 3, 5, 7, (9) 11, 13, 17, 19
