how do i spawn boats?

pls help i can't spawn anything i don't know how!

You must first have a vehicle loaded into your workbench. While in the workbench, there is an option across the top on the left side that will spawn the vehicle you have loaded.

You should note that the basic boat doesn't have any power/control connections set up for some reason so you will have to do those yourself before you spawn it or you wont go anywhere.

It seems a lot of the custom objects are unfinished in similar ways. I do wish the sample objects were fully complete. I understand the game is about making things yourself but it gets frustrating to have to tinker with every object you load in just to get it to work.

I had the same feelings, until I remembered why Windows had a solitaire game and a minesweeper game. I personally believe that learning from solving a problem is a really good way to do it. But thats just me

I suppose, but it does throw you in the deep end a bit and expect you to manage to solve the problem with little help other than the tutorial, maybe more with me because it ages since I played this game last and I cant remember half of it. I dont mind adding a prop to a boat etc but I dont really have the time to figure out how to get a submarine or a helicopter/plane to work. I would rather just cannibalise other peoples creations.
