Lightning Striking Vehicles
I was flying my adv mode 1 rotor helicopter through a moderate thunderstorm, and the electricity in my helicopter shut off unexpectedly and it plummeted into the ocean in sync with the thunder sound effects. Luckily, my heli was watertight and buoyant, so I was able to figure out that my circuit breaker that connected the batteries to the rest of the helicopter was off while sitting in the water. I restarted my helicopter and got back to a decent altitude, only for another lightning strike directly on my helicopter to happen. I went through the same drill and continued on the transport mission i was on, surprisingly with no damage on my helicopter. Are lightning strikes on aircraft normal and is it normal for it to occur twice in a row?

This happened with me right now!

Yes it is normal, in a storm either fly low or don't fly to avoid getting hit. If you do get struck and can reset the breakers quickly enough you can stay in the air though, so if you can't fly low fly high to give yourself time to recover.

Lightning will only strike you if flying above 120m. So stay below 100m and you are save 👍

Happened to me several times, except in non waterthight nor buoyant helicopters, and on top of that, there were no circuit breakers on them so i was doomed to die :(

It is possible to detect power loss with logic gates and automatically reset the breaker. You will need a more advance aircraft to fly in bad weather over 120m.

this happened to me several times but i was flying a plane so i didnt even lose altitude. i was so glad the main power switch was accessible from the pilot seat
