Engines and pumps question
Hey, okay so get this.. The engine pumps its own fluids through pipes easy, right? Well-- would it make it more efficient or get more power out of certain parts of it by using pumps?
(Air to get more air into the system, pumping coolant in and out through heat syncs to make it more efficient, etc.)

Would this work or am I having a fever dream?

well the large engine responds well to a turbocharger up to the point where it reaches it's manifold restriction... Available gains are only about 3% though.

How does a turbocharger work in this game and does it make my boat faster or more efficient?

At higher rpms youll see air, exhaust etc go into red numbers suggesting not enough flow. Ive been using small and large pumps on locomotives, i cant speak for performance as itd hard to tell but with a large pump on air intake, the engine seems rather happy

I investigated this on a medium engine and got a big improvement in performance, but this is a drag race boat. The setup doesn't lend itself to longevity or economy, at all.

It's not that it doesn't have enough supply. I'm just wondering if you can force more into an engine to make it better.
