Please add working sails into game. Wind and waves physics are already here.

They would be nice as a niche little utility as well as a backup, but likely you won't be saving anyone with a sailboat!

Yeah... hard to rescue people with a sailboat... but all the fun! Tall ships! Ships of the Line!! Clippers! Racing gaffs!!

I vote yes.

However, I can't see an easy way to control all that stuff. Rigging is hard and working the sails too.

We can do semi sail as a workaround now, by using parachute and attraching ropes to it, but it takes lot of time now.

Sails are something that many players have been asking for quite some time. If a poll were done, surely there would be a fairly clear majority in favor.
I do not understand why in a game focused on the maritime world, trains or rockets have been added first, which seems very good to me. I guess it will be because it has more complication than it seems.
But you also have to understand that the game is in early access and you have to be patient, I just hope sooner or later they will be added.

Half the stuff here doesn't apply. Weapons DLC wasn't out, and the game was just leaving EA iirc.

Sooo... I've been able to make this work. But, like everyone else has said before, the water-wind physics balancing is waaaaaay off. At least this might be an inspiration to someone who has pull with the powers that be.
