Muted in discord falsely by bot
I posted a link to my recent creation on the workshop and it muted me without any context after posting it.

The community is nicely friendly and ive got nothing but praise for the developers.. Stick to reddit
Discord really and I do mean really is ruled with an absolute iron fist, be it unwritten rules, bots or even posting in the wrong section

For such a wonderful game, its discord is terrible.. Take the mute as a blessing, itll hurt for a while sure. But theres nicer places that wont have you hating the game by proxy

I've been on that discord for roughly 2 years now and I haven't had any problems with it.

Official discord channels can't really be compared with most community made ones. They simply have to be administrated to keep them from turning into chaos. The rules however are reasonable and quite simple to follow.


If the bot really did mess up, try contacting Beginner about it.

That is the first problem ive had in the discord since the discord was released. The only things i have been muted for was because i accidently sent a message in RU-Gen instead of Gen and posting the link...

Necro much, but it's relevant.
I've gotten muted four times, all for 12 hours.. and I am currently muted. reasons?
First: Three words in caps. I was just enthusiastic.
Second: I just said "I am pissed".... No indication of what I did wrong
Third: After a while of just not using caps, I said two words in caps to emphasize my point, and got muted.
Fourth: Said a sentence with "can't" in it, in caps, and the bot took it for two words, and muted me.
I hate my life.

So that's why the 9-yr olds keep getting banned from discord. They can't type!
Well, that clears up the mystery for me then...

The bot is too sensitive. I would get a 12 hour mute if I typed a full sentence in caps, but getting that same mute for just typing "CAN'T" in a sentence is a bit ridiculous.
And at this point I'll probably get banned cause of the 3 strikes policy...

I'm agree that our bot is too sensitive but we have very few admins for such big server, so we had to tweak Dyno to react even on very minor violations. There can be very many false positive reactions but there much more valid reactions. Many players just join to spam or swear or post unrelated memes.

Anyway, if you see any admin online you can always ask him to unmute you if it was just a bot failure. Our DM is open.

And no, we don't count auto mutes. To ban we need to have at least three manual mutes on record.
