mine is a i3 core and it only lags with lights turned on realy big creations near the dock but rather than that i say it is good
I'm not sure how refunds work with the Steam wallet cards, but if you can get your money back and you're still unsure your best bet is to buy it and then refund if you don't think it's going to run fast enough for you to enjoy it. Sorry I can't be more help than that.
