Battery help
I just built my first boat however after wiring all the batterys to a dial i only have 18 battery which doesn't make sense because i have 2 medium batteires and 16 small batteries, after adding a large battery for testing it only added 1 to the dial. Why does every battery give out 1 energy? Anyone else having this problem?

I think all the batteries have the same amount of energy stored in them they just get depleted at different rates

Yeah, I'd view the 0 to 1 as charge remaining. I typically mulitply it by 100 and stick it on a dial to show percent of battery life remaining. I imagine bigger batteries do have higher output capacities and longer life. ...bu they still report their charge remaining on the 0 to 1 scale (I view it as 0 to 100)

0 = drained, 1 = 100% charged.

You think wrong. They have capacities 100/800/16000.
But when connected different batteries equlise there percent of charge - exectly what you see on a dial.
If you want to see a real electrical charge you should multiply this value by total batteries charge capacity
