Helicopter spawned on the ship can't fly
I'm not 100% sure if this is a bug, but is starts to feel like one. Here is my situation:

I have a perfectly fine helicopter, the design I use a lot, doing almost every mission with it. There is no doubts that helicopter is perfectly fit for landing/taking off from a ship, because I did it multiple times and it all handles well.

I have a ship with enough room to land abovementioned helicopter. I checked it more then once, by manually landing and taking off with said heli. There are no issues with both of them. They fit perfectly. Actually, both were designed to fit.

Now, instead of spawning helicopter and a boat separately, I thought it would be a good idea to load a heli as ship's subassembly. Why not, after all? Multivehicle things are working fine. Even this ship have 2 other vehicles spawning with it, and both are perfectly fine after spawning (small boat and a minisub, no fliers). I triplecheck every possible collision when pasting helicopter. Every piece spawns as it should. No missing rotor blades. Nothing like that.
Now, when I try to take off - helicopter starts to spin uncontrollably, eventually crushing against the ship, or just into ocean. Again, there is no such problem with this heli. It's as stable in the air, as if it was just standing on helipad.

The only two things I can think of as a possible reason to this are:
- A bug. Nuff said.
- Gyroscope. IRL gyro needs to calibrate when powered, and it requires a moment to do so. Helicopter must remain still, otherwise gyroscope will go nuts. I'm not sure, but do gyros in game work the same way? In this case, starting it first time, while ship is beeing swayed by waves would result in exactly that.
Anyone knows for sure?

I don't know if its related but I dropped/placed a "scientist" on my boat last night and they died instantly and started spinning uncontrollably.

It might pay to link your two vehicles to see if someone can replicate the bug/problem.

I can't upload them to workshop, because both are modified versions of other's creations, and they explicitly asked for no reuploads.

Thing is that whenever I place anything on the ship - it's fine. Even the very-very same helicopter is. Problems only appear if I spawn heli on the ship from workbench.
If I put a heli down on the ground, walk 1 meter to workbench, spawn a ship and fly the heli to ship's helipad - nothing bad will happen. I can move around with my ship and helicopter attached, then detouch a helicopter, fly somewhere and return.

I just did all that in a time between my original post and this response.

Do you have literally any ship with a helipad, and a helicopter to spawn with it? Try it. Will your helicopter take off properly?

Allright, I did a lot more testing and well, it has something to do with this particular ship+helicopter combo. This ship with other choppers have no problems, just like that heli with any other ship.
Apparently, rotors collide with ship on spawn, even tho I can't see it. Anyway, nevermind, it's not a game bug.

I would say my work here is done...
On a side note, hooking up your gyros to the wrong outputs gives some "fun" results.

Yepp, but as I said, helicopter handles perfectly. It's just an invisible collision that play games with me. Last time tested, I've noticed that heli keeps losing rotor blades while in the air. It has something with how it spawns, I just can't see it.
