Boat will not move or steer RUDDER SYMMETRY!!

If you like boats/ships with double rudders don't place the Rudders when you use the SYMMETRY button. The two rudders will be mirrored and therefore the result is traveling in a straight line regardles of how many times you push A or D.

Took me only half a day to figure it out. Hope it helps :)

It is probably me.

Wathever boat I build, small, smallish, elongated, streamlined, You name it they don't move. Apart from a soft purring of the engines nothing happens.

Connections just copied of the original boat. Nada, nope nothing. Yes, they float and even dry.

Any suggestions?

It'd help if you posted a picture of the logic screen.

You may have an unbound connection. Probably the throttle. Check to see if you have a link from your control chair/helm W/S axis to your engine. You also need one from the engine to the propeller.

Strangely but screenshot are all grey.

I reinstalled the game. Now the engine works fine but the steering is now gone.
The original boat's logic screen has been followed. Rudder connected to the A/D axis button on the pilot seat. The original logic screen and my version are identical. Not that strange since I only broadened and lengthened the original design a bit.

I worked around it. Put in the other type of rudder. So now I move and I can steer. Hurray.

Use a Numberical inverter and at to one of the rudders, then connect A/D to it. This will invert the signal you give when pressing A or D and steer it in the right direction. To figure out witch one of them, just try and change rudder.
