Next map expansion: Desert map in the west

I had a dream last night that there was a desert destination you could visit. I'd love that to be an official map expansion. Granted the map is meant to be for islands and archipelago's so if these desert islands were a bit like Australia where the coast is fertile, but the inner lands are barren. Could be an interesting twist for the game.

last time I checked there weren't any deserts around scotland and australia is not exactly nearby either...

The idea is interesting but I don't think that is going to happen.
Not in this iteration of the game anyway – it is way out of scope.


Maybe there will be a "Stormworks: Fury Road" expansion one day. ^^

It needn't necessarily be west, if you want, the south and south east are vacant if you want a bit more geographical accuracy.

Stormworks is a sea rescue sandbox game that is set in scotland in the near future.

Land bases operations are not a priority of the game to begin with (we don't even have a real mainland yet) and there are no desets anywhere near scotland so I wouldn't expect anything like that to be added.


And no, australia is nowhere near scotland either.
