DEVS: can we please have lighter blocks?!

im trying to build a have decent sized supply/rescue vessel and i barley got any of the big stuff loaded in and the ship is nearly touching the bottom already :/ i cant make it much taller either ....

yeah they need to lower to mass 0.7 and nerf it slightly

yeah pretty much wasted loads of hours on the creation of this log to find it hardly floats :/ very discouraging....

yeah this is just stupid...they can easily fix it is the sad part...change the weight so a block doesnt weigh ten pounds... even smaller boats are weighed down to much blocks are just to damn heavy to build anything lol... im contemplating putting wheels on the bottom of my boat for when she touches the bottom i can just kick it in 4 wheel drive

a boat that size should float just fine, are you sure you aren't doing something wrong? 1 mass seems quite reasonable for most boats, and for anything large it needs a lot of extra weight.

apparently the one thing i did wrong so far was build it lol i dont even have any engines in it yet...not fleshed out inside either... just a shell .. looks like ill be having me a submarine instead once i do finish it if i even bother...seems rather pointless...sucks to cause im building this ship to work towards in career... :/ bit of a bummer to see the damn thing can't even float hardly

I agree. We need lighter blocks but they have to be more expensive than the normal blocks. Otherwise everyone woulnt use the normal ones anymore

Drip Dry 100% in the end of it i removed all the doors and any area that could possibly be a leak and blocked it off.... still the same result... the ship is mostly submerged as you can see...i honestly dont know why this is the case... is there some method to making these not sink to the bottom of the ocean in this game?
