If you are talking about sliding connectors, they are not meant to be controlled. If you are talking about linear tracks/track bases, then make sure you have them hooked up with a battery (If in advanced mode), and connect some sort of control. For the normal-sized ones, it will be two on/off inputs to go in the positive or negative direction. For the compact version, it will be a number input that represents the speed/direction the track base goes. (Positive numbers go forward, and negative ones go back).

I hope this helps :)

yeah i was talking about the sliding connectors. How can we incorporate them into our builds if they are not meant to be controlled in some fashion. do they just sit there unable to be moved or pushed by say a linear base or something?

They glide on the track, pushed by hand, gforce or a normal linear slider and can be locked at the given spot. They also can be pushed off the track and be slided onto the track again. Think of a lifeboat that could be slided on and off a ramp and be locked with the sliding connector.

thats kinda what im trying to accomplish however i cant seem to get them to work....wither the brake is on or not i cant push it... is there something im missing here?

i should mention im trying to place these overhead....but as stated no matter wither there is power to them or not, wither the brake is on or not, wither release is on or not...damn things just stay in place and wont budge for nothing...

Is it under power /electricity?

It's quiet a time I used it but if I remember it right it has a lock and a break. And it's locked if it's off and unlocked if it's turned on.

You just place grippers on the track so they can freely move in both directions (make sure they a separated from the tracks).

Thanks beginner, i figured out the issue afterwards... if you place the grippers down you need to then again select them with the selection tool and paste them in again so that they become their own entity and not part of the main build by default like they do once originally placed.

Yup that is correct. These blocks are not really designed to go directly onto that track when building but rather to be on completely separate grid by default (like a container).

Ok, there could be added an auto separation but in that case, when you want to add grippers to the "container" they will be separated too. So it just depends on how you build. You can place gripper, cut, paste and then just keep build container normally without any issues. But with auto separation you will have to join grippers every time you place them at the container or on the track - doesn't matter because it will be always a new body.
