Landing gear help
landing gear help
I am currently building a new plane around the size and class of the Leerjet.
this requires retractable landing gear.
I know how to do basic MC work and some more advanced stuff however there is one thing i have no idea with.
Two things really
THERE IS NO JK FLIP FLOP!
and two
how do i make one input signal create two different scenarios, i.e. door opening landing gear coming out / landing gear coming in door closing?
I also need help with delay circuits.

One of the easiest way to do sequences like that is to use an up/down gate (or a throttle lever, same thing really).

That up/down gate will basically be your "timeline" and then you can use threshold gates to trigger things at specific points on that timeline.

You can also use function gates to generate outputs relative to the timeline. (by adding an offset and maybe multiplying it).

The nice thing is that this allows you to easily pause or reverse the sequence.

Here is an old example on that:

Obviously you can do the same inside microcontrollers.
