The game itself has a file that tracks wether or not you played the tutorial. Unsurprisingly, this file gets deleted when you delete all of your files, so the game has no way of knowing that you played the tutorial and it treats you as a new player.

Next time when you reset your PC, you can copy %appdata%\stormworks to a flash drive and then copy it back after resetting to prevent this from happening.

Personally, I back up documents and appdata and restore it whenever my PC is reset.

The tutorial is really short anyways. It barely teaches you anything about the game.

expected cloud storage.

i don't get why you would force the tutorial on people. it's not needed.

Just turn it off in options when starting a new game.

you can't do that if you haven't completed it.

Cloud syncing your games might prevent this in the future

Switch to advanced mode. It doesn't have a tutorial for some reason.

It's really not a long tutorial but if you want to skip it, you can go to %appdata%\stormworks and open "save.xml" in a text editor. (I recommend something like Notepad++).

Look for tutorial_completed="false" and change it to tutorial_completed="true"
