Help turning vehicle around in editor
Hey guys I'm a noob and built my boat facing in the wrong direction in the editor, any option to turn it around? The move option only lets me bring it up down forwards backwards

I made the same mistake. When I click the selector though, I can only select components of the boat, not the entire thing. Any suggestions?

By selector, do you perhaps mean the arrow pointing up and left?

If yes, that is not what Rodzyn was talking about, but the icon before last on the top row, the one that looks like a square of dotted lines.

Admittedly, the first is called "Select" and the other "Selection Grid", it can cause confusion.

You'll have to resize the grid to be at least as big as your whole ship, click on cut, use the rotation keys to achieve the desired result, then click on paste.

By the way, there are quick buttons for the selection tool, like ctrl+click and shift click. Try them out :)

Outstanding.

I've been redoing a wheelhouse using the selection grid in order to practice with it and because I wanted to see which was more work intensive, cutting and pasting or just restarting from scratch and redo all the connections again. That's a game changer.

I've successfully used the usual Ctrl+C, Ctrl+X and Ctrl+V shortcuts, but would you know if there's one for clearing the contents of the selection? It would expedite the process even more.

If there is, i don't know it. I just use the button on the left hand side.
If i were to guess, delete or backspace is the logical bind. There has been more than a year since i looked at the keybinds, it's possible it's there too.
