Stormworks No Audio
Stormworks has no audio whenever I start it. It had audio before, but after I tried using in-home streaming, the audio has stopped. How do I fix this?

Edit: I notice that there is audio. On the "manage audio device" on the control panel shows that there is audio playing, but it's playing on "Steam Streaming Microphone"

I fixed it. I had to switch the default audio device to "Realtek Audio" and restart the game.

This is an issue because in-home streaming does not reset the default audio device properly.

Open up control panel, sounds, choose your speakers or headphones, and set them as default.

I am having the same problem
I'd tried to set my audio device to default but I couldn't press the button

Sometimes this needs a bit of elbow grease. Set another device as the default first, then set the device you want as default.

right click the speaker icon bottom right (win10) goto open sound settings choose output device.. if u dont have an icon just search sound settings...

I found the best solution. just do the thing that does the thing with the thing that runs the thing!!

1. Start Stormworks.

2. Go into the sound settings, and make sure that you have selected your headset under output (not necessary but might fix it).

3. Then, scroll down to advanced and select the volume mixer. Click the arrow in the Stormworks section to open the tray. Select your headset under output.

4. Restart your game

Hope that clears everything up for you. Worked for me so hopefully you too :)
