Kaspersky Anti Virus Warning about Stormworks.exe

As per the title, I have just now received an anti virus warning from Kaspersky about Stormworks.exe.

I haven't started the game in a while and I'm guessing it's a false positive after the latest update - has anyone else had this warning?

I got the same warning too...If you trust the developers, you can simply go to More Tools→ Safety
→ Isolation and Recover the file.

But I hope the developers can find out if the program was accidentally infected with a virus, or the Anti-Virus misjudged it

and checking virus total they all mark as ok even kaspersky engine ?

I have had this issue as well. Even if I add it as an exception and run it Kaspersky entirely flips out. I then not only detects it as a dangerous program but as Trojan.Win32.Bazon.a.

i have the same problem too and i could fix it on kasperskx but now steam is saying acess denied

Same thing here. I will send the file to kaspersky for analisis when i have some time, could be just a false positive. My summer car had the same problem a long time ago. They fixed it after i sent the file to KS.

I've reported to kaspersky. How long did it take to fix your problem last time?

tbh ive had this sort of issue with AVG. reads a bunch of steam update files as evil....ive just let it quarantine them and continued as normal

I've reported to kaspersky. How long did it take to fix your problem last time?

About a week or 2. They didn't contacted me, but the AV stopped detecting the launcher as virus, so i guess they did something.
