How to cancel an execution?
I've died countless times due to being stuck once my character finishes off an enemy with a heavy attack. It takes a good 3 to 5 seconds for an execution to finish and all the while I get stabbed repeatedly, which does not cancel the execution, leading to my death.

So is there any way to get out of it? I'm playing Raider, which means that I kind of have no choice but to use heavy attacks.

I know it ends sooner if you don't do anything, but I think you can just dodge out of it. (sometimes I've also just been able to move away and have it end as well though, but I haven't exactly gone to lengths to test how to end it)

Definitely can't dodge out of it once you actually start the execution.

Sorry, I should have clarified. I meant when you're at the point to choose which execution you're going to do.

Simple, ignore the choice. You are not forced to do an execution.

That's what I was saying to him...lol

Or you could simply just finish them with a light attack. Those don't give you the option of an execution.

You still get locked in for a second, unable to target others until you manage to slip out of it. It stops you in your tracks. I should be able to just immediately get out of it through movement alone.
