I doubt it's anything to do with the chair with the fact that Sebastian sat on the chair before Bryce is back in the office. (The "His chair is comfy" quote.)
So it's either something to do with the desk or papers I think.
I wasn't aware there was a counter for that, I just thought you had to be completely useless and friendless to achieve that :)
What even funnier is if you take the pills in your bathroom, it increases your Evil Points a lot (5 to 20 if I remember correctly).
EDIT: Just did some searching again, taking pills increase 3 Evil Points.
That's... impressive.
The funny thing is, I first took the pills by accident (I initially thought it was "take" as in "add into inventory" until I realized it was the OTHER form of "take") and I didn't take any more because I was afraid my character would die.
I went back later for the achievement.
On that note, does cracking eggs also add evil points?
Cracking eggs don't increase your evil points, but the game recorded it in the Secret Ending.
You can check out JeffMakesGames's guide of the game at the Guides Page, that's where I learned about the Evil Points.
