How to get hats and skins?

I have won 2 games, still not hats or skins or new trails...

Though I always get ♥♥♥♥ for the x-th time I already have in my inventory so I finally bought the items I wanted in the market, most are really cheap lile 3 cents. Just skins are expensive as f*ck and just for rich people. Don't know how you could ever achieve one by only playing? Perhaps after 1.000 hours or whatever. (After getting the 500th hat I already have.)

What does scraping items do? I get coins but how do I spend them.

When you get 15 you can press the big button with 15 coins and generate a random uncommon item but I have no clue how you ever in a normal human life (~80 years) can get so many coins for the rarer things.
