Stuck on initial loading screen
Whenever I click "Play" in my library it loads the banner, then proceeds to the loading screen.

After, it just loads for about 30 minutes before giving me a Low Memory Warning and telling me to close the program.

It's that or closing the program and telling me that it stopped responding

hey Fox, i have the same problem and i dont know what is happening i have tried the following launch comands/controls:
-d3d10
-opengl
-opengl4
The only problem is that these comands dont work for me, although they might for you. Any help from people that have had this problem that know how to fix it or the Devs please let me know as i really want to play the game. Thanks.

I saw these launch commands in another post, I tried them and they did not help.
A small update though, I tried earlier and the game got to the menu, but instantly crashed.
Now im wondering if there is a way I could possibly lower my graphics without having to be in the game as that could possibly be causing the crashes

Hey,

Another thing which could help is going to

"C:\Users\*Username\AppData\Local\GolfIt\Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditor"

Open -> Engine.ini

Add:

[/script/engine.renderersettings]
r.TextureStreaming=1

Save and Set Engine.ini as read-only.

And try again and see if that helps.

Take care,

Jonas

This did not work for me. Game is not even loading in. Game worked for 16 minutes, tried to play it again one day later, and now its utterly broken.

Hey,

You can open your local AppData folder by pressing the keys "Win + R" and entering "%LocalAppData%". Goto "C:\Users\Username\AppData\Local\GolfIt\Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditor" and send me your "GameUserSettings.ini" to "contact@perfuse-entertainment.com" so I can find the error in you ini and fix it for everyone in the next update. After you have send me the file just delete the complete Config folder and the game should start normally again. The current theory is that the resolution gets saved wrong inside the ini.

Take care,

Jonas

I'm currently experiencing similar issues, the games enters the loading screen for around 30 seconds and then crashes without any error messages. I've attempted to do all of the above details listed besides sending you my GameUserSettings.ini. Help would be appreciated.

Hey,

You could try the current “public-pre-beta” version of the next update.
Right-click on the game in the Steam-Library -> properties -> Betas -> and select the “public-pre-beta” in the dropbox on top and close the window.

Take care,

Jonas
