Microphone issues
Hello people/devs,

me and some friends are playing Golf It! since a few days now, and we are chatting through Teamspeak/Discord. Everything worked fine until 2 days ago my microphone randomly stopped working while playing, and the same thing just happened again with another friend of mine. Since we had no issues with our mic, and having the same problem while playing this game it would be a very big coincidence if it has nothing to do with the game.

Does anyone else also have this problem? And if they did, is there anything we can do to fix it?

Hey,

Would you mind telling me what Headphones you are using and what your system specs/windows versions are?
I have not experienced that issue myself but I will gladly investigate any issue regarding the game interrupting with mic sound.

I believe that it is an issue with administration privileges for programs, and I personally had the same issue with Discord. I found that, especially for push-to-talk, I had to run the VoIP program in admin mode. Hopefully this works

Hi,

I've been using the Creative Fatal1ty Headset https://www.amazon.com/Creative-HS800-Fatal1ty-Gaming-Headset/dp/B002DS4HTM when the problem occured. I am on Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit. Intel Core i5-650 @3.20GHz, 4GB RAM, using a NVIDIA GeForce GT320 graphics card.

When using steam voice chat while playing the game I cannot talk because it says that my mic is in use by game. I use Razer Krakens 7.1 Chroma on Windows 10 Premium 64 Bit Intel i7 7700K @4,30GHz, 8GB RAM and Nvidia GTX1070 founders edition. I'm assuming there is voice chat in the game but there is no option to disable it? I won't play the game If I can't be on voice comms

In order to use STEAM-VOICE-CHAT ... Open "Engine.ini" and add those commands :

[Voice]
bEnabled=false

[OnlineSubsystem]
bHasVoiceEnabled=false

Location:
C:\Users\%USER\AppData\Local\GolfIt\Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditor
