Also, they could have Fen still be alive because he got teleported to a planet in our solar system or something like that and then you would have to save Fen from a civilisation like Vectron that had a massive robot that was using him like a fuel.

I will say that it's probably going to be quite a while. Image and Form are working on a new game, but they're staying quiet on the details for now--at least until they have more to show off. And these people have built a reputation for trying out new things and exploring new genres, so they're probably not going to release a third SteamWorld Dig anytime soon since this one just came out last year.

Sorta, but not completely. You can find Fen and his new, crudely-built body in Steamworld: Heist... as long as you own The Outsider DLC.

If enough people want Dig 3 I'm sure they're oblige as SteamWorld is their bread and butter and the Dig games are definitely better than the Heist games.

I played dig 1&2 and l really liked the story. Looking forward to dig 3 as I sure this great game can't end here.
