And no, you can not destroy boulders. Once you get used to the game they will become a nonfactor.

@Edit: NVM. Just got a hook shot. Should make traveling much easier. :D
Ok you see the dirt over the plant? Destroy it and then stand on the edge of the dirt tile adjacent to it, look down and swing your pickaxe, it will trigger the plant to blowup and the rest will blow up too. ;)
Also I know how to dig, and destroy cactuses.

Actually, I seem to recall Dig 1 telling the player this was a bad idea very early on, but I don't think Dig 2 mentioned it at all.
PSA for new Dig players: BAD IDEA!
And I'm pretty sure sprint jump goes to 2 tiles max. So yeah. At least grapling hook makes things less sufferable.
