Ever considered Co-op
Ok, I just found out about the "SteamWorld series" because of SteamWorld Dig being free on Origin, but this game seems like it would be a lot more fun with online or local/splitscreen multiplayer...

We have and would love to have it. We made singleplayer a priority this time, but who knows what the future holds?

Please keep it singleplayer only. That is just me throwing in my two cents. :D

Um kid, im sure if multiplayer is added it will be an option.
Its not mandatory that you play with a friend (if you have any, not in a mean way).
Plus it will be a post launch feature, so why should they not make it?
Its not like the game is gonna be delayed for Co-op.

You can go take back those two cents because I don't think its benefiting anyone at all :)

Multiplayer would most likely be optional 💕

It would be really amazing to have local co-op on this game! :) I just played Super Motherload on PS4 with my wife in co-op and she really loved it! So I was looking for "similar looking game" and although this one looks similar, it also looks incredibly bigger and better :)

I don't think it would work with coop.

The way it plays and how the levels are designed. I'm not at liberty to divulge information on it though.

Gday
Dispointed to see yet another game without online coop

Guess we have to wait till no 4 till you consider coop then

Really no one ♥♥♥♥♥♥ joint passage in other games? Now everyone is doing cooperative games and it's already fed up. Everything is everywhere, too. Do not spoil the excellent game vile cooperative, destroy the entire atmosphere.

Ok, you guys (Vareg1986 and Andrew) obviously don't get it.
Just because local might be in the game, dosen't mean you have to play it.
If you think that it will ruin the game, IGNORE IT AND PLAY SINGLEPLAYER.
While you might think it will ruin the "atmosphere", a lot of other people will end up enjoying it.

Basically its an option, and you can choose to play it or not, its not hurting anyone in any way (unless it will be bad) :P

Actually I found it hard to find a game that actually supports

Steam + Linux + Fun + local coop + online coop + under USD$15

I regularly come across TRUCKLOADS of games
that look like it would be fun with a friend ONLINE
and split screen coop yet the devs always seem
to have solo single player limited focus

I would love to see this unicorn games in abundance with coop

The problem with "local" Coop:

In this days not many engine support that anymore. If the engine doesnt support it the dev cant programme it. And the engine are mostly bought like unity for example. So the dev dont know much about the engine except how to use it.
