right. i don't know why there's even been conjecture about that recently, but yes, blocking players will prevent them from invading you.
this isn't some exploit, this is just cheat engine and someone dweeby enough to actually do this type of thing in dark souls 1 in late 2024. i restate my theory that elden ring was too hard for them. people will report this guy, the system will do its thing, and a month later a post will materialize on here about how to reverse an unfair ban over nothing.

None of the hosts who mention this invader say they ever saw them or had any interaction, just their NPCs die.
Plenty of threads on this very topic already, but sure, another player adds their hacked experience who missed reading forum. Understandable if not following community.
