Those who want to experience the game seamlessly with a friend is the aim of the mod. Your game doesn't get any easier because others are playing with friends.
we have a thread a few posts down trying to justify how magic builds aren't easy mode, so you certainly seem out of touch with that.
i think the idea of seamless is pretty terrible, actually. the best things these games offer is a community, not some pve experience; a lot of the almost 240 friends on my list, i met in the souls series. couldn't have happened if i had sequestered myself to playing with people i already knew.
I'm guessing you have missed all the posts of people here on the forums requesting people like minded people to play through the game with wherever seamless is available.
that and you're not trying to make friends with people who are perma-bitter about being invaded.
i guess my thing is when i see people actually play seamless and trivialize all the content in the game i think it's not the best fit for the series. edit: don't get me wrong, though, i get why people would want it to be so ridiculously easy. i fight people who use other cheats all the time, infinite health and stuff.
Don't understand what this CB guy is going on about... people aren't allowed to play games with friends they already have? Why do you even care if it's easier...
The game this is a remaster of is almost 14 years old and forgotten by the devs.
People want to inject an isolated and new experience into an old game, I don't see an issue.
it was. they made an unpredictable online experience the way they did for a reason. this type of thing takes away the possibility space that makes this game worth playing; you'll never happen upon someone having the time of their life roleplaying as a merchant in this with something like seamless going.
i could never be camera souls on seamless.
well i didn't say it was difficult, now, did i? that reading comprehension, again. if i may make a suggestion: stick to what people write when you respond to them.
but either way this mod lets you tweak boss stats anyway so it absolutely is an easy mode you can just lean on when the game gets too intentional with its design.
sounds like you just dislike what i have to say. sorry, public forum.
i'm just saying that i see the way people steamroll the games with seamless and that it takes away the fundamental experience of these. you want to play dynasty warriors instead of dark souls, basically. there's supposed to be an unpredictable element here.
Many years later, with just essentially a handful of people playing, the chances of happening upon your roleplaying merchant even in vanilla is minutely slim.
Seamless can only help to inject some life into an old game with a declining playerbase and offer old players a new way to experience the game.
