Bought the Dark Souls games and I believe I am just a torture to ones soul
Bought the dark souls games and I have to say, WHY? did I decide to torture myself with games that are not for the weak of hart LMAO... I believe it is better to test oneself and leave the crying to the other souls that failed to study the way of dying and reliving lol..

I am most certainly enjoying the games thus far and I have never ever in my entire gaming, ever thought of getting games that challenge your very being into not committing crying when you die to a rat or a skeleton half your size...

I have always played it safe with games and also played the easy and guided games. I am looking forward to going in completely blind into these games and always having my ass handed to me and learning.... :twopointcured:

Good for you!
Learn from every death
Losing 2K souls will hurt, but soon enough it isn't even worth getting upset about

Also: Dark Souls #1 Rule Kill The Dogs First

Good Luck

Note: Skeletons are the same as you, or larger. Rats, by the way, are also your size or much larger
I have lost 3k souls and that was painful, even loosing 200 souls is painful LOL
no. this is the modifiable weak sauce temptation coward scumsavable 'streamer godruns' cheap, weak, fraud PC editions. NO the real deal is with clunky half working controllers on archaic console architecture with no save scum and fresh playthorugh required for every alternative alliteration of outcome. anything less is scrub, disingenuous and a disservice to oneself ultimately.

scrapping entire runs. realizing actually. no. this is all bs. realizing no. all this false virtue. at the end of the day it is just a gaslight video game system and there will be no commensurarte system of reward awaiting you on the other side. the only thing to do is free yourself of it. shatter the shackle and in fact maybe just fkn cheese it anyhow come to think of it. OMG
I actually cheesed the massive knights in Dark souls Remastered, by going to the close by bonfire and then getting three of them to chase to close to the edge and they all fell off. It was a cheesy win, but a win LMAO

The key thing to remember about souls-likes is this:

There is no single path to power.

Everyone has different preferred playstyles and if they jell well with how you play, they can give you a good advantage.

My personal "path to power" is a Paladin with Sunbro Miracles and divine weapons.

Started as Knight, got just enough strength to buy the Bastard Sword off of Andre (not required, I just always prefer that blade for whatever reason), cheese past the Hellkite Wyvern to get the Lightning warrior of Sunlight spells, have a light crossbow in the extra offhand slot (never know when a quick bolt might prove useful!) And Talisman in the other main hand slot. Make sure you have decent healing spells and pump points into faith. I also have a firm grip on the Kite Shield parry timing, so I Riposte a lot as well.

This is how I conquer DS1 so far. I've gotten my first major boss kill of the second half, and just figuring out what my second will be. Also detouring into the DLC areas for some extra loot.
Here is the thing, having my ass handing to me and sucking terribly at the game. Is what I enjoy, up to the point were I get good and really enjoy the game..
