First Rule of Dark Souls, Kill the Dogs First

If you mean the Capra Demon with the two dogs, I am not positive you can get help at that location. Regardless: Stand close to the fog door. Doggo #1 will stick his nose through the fog Hit him. I like to use fire because you can watch the damage roll up while back off. Once he quits burning, repeat until dead

Other method is to throw firebombs over the wall. You have to use a bow to set your aiming spot the throw the bomb. Best you look for a YT video for that one. Black firebombs are best, and the most expensive. This early you should have about five on hand.

I normally only kill the one dog then enter. Shield with 100% physical damage block, Heater Shield from merchant in the area above where you're at if you don't have it yet. Knights starter shield (IIRC)

Blast the doggo #2 with your best shot (I use magic or pyro). Then run up the stairs to the left. Go right and stand on the ledge. Take shots (bow, magic, pyro) at the Demon as he follows you up the stairs. Oh yeah, focus on killing the dog. He can tie you up, letting the Demon nail ya.

Once doggo #2 is dead, switch to Capra again. One or two hits, jump down run away when he's ready to jump. If you need Estus you can get in a quick chug when you land, or get back on the ledge. Hit him once or twice then run. Do not stand there and slug it out. You. Will. Die. At least on NG you will. I strong STR build, the Knight with the Heater Shield for instance, but I've never tried it. I never run a STR only build.
