so you have no actual frame of reference for how often this happens or under what type of circumstances it happens.
yet you felt qualified to answer a bunch of questions about it anyway, even going so far to suggest that it is a 'design oversight instead of a bug'.
again, it's okay to not know a subject. it's not okay to answer about it when you don't have answers.
maybe someone who invades a lot might know better. do you know anyone like that?

I even threw you another bone in case you have reading comprehension, so I mentioned that you don't need to personally have a seizure to confirm the existence of seizures. I even brought them up twice.
Information can be found in many ways, you know. You don't have to personally solve every math proof to know math. Just like you don't need to personally given birth to know where children came from. Do I need to go on? Do I REALLY need to go on just for your thick head?

no, it's not. what you said was that you were 'pretty sure cracked red eye orbs aren't region-bound'. are you guessing at that, too? if you're not sure of what you said, you know you can go back a page.
don't be mad at me for pointing out that you don't know what you're talking about. just don't start giving answers on subjects when you don't know about them. someone might actually *listen* to you and then they'll be misinformed.

2. This is a discussion forum. People can say whatever they want here as long as it's not bad faith (wink wink) and relevant to the topic. People can speculate. People can be wrong about things. People can also write something not clearly. It's a forum. This is not a research paper.
3. If someone is unclear or wrong about something on a forum. Add to it instead of interrogating the other person about their supposed malice or criminal negligence. While we should strive for higher quality posting, but to get so worked up over this 1 thing is not only irrelevant to the topic and it's also comically childish.
4. No one is gonna get into trouble for not knowing or misunderstanding invasion in Dark Souls. Even if they did took the wrong message or get told lies or whatever, using the red orb a couple times would've set the record straight. You'd just clutching the pearls over nothing. What's next? "Think of the children" Pfff.
5. Since being sent to a different region is a possibility in Dark Souls however uncommon it is, if you're really so butthurt over the "technicality" of things to the atomic level, maybe you should also consider that it's not region bound by the sheer fact the otherwise is possible. Or you only respect the spirit and intent of things when it suits your way. And if so, it's false pretense of correction when in reality all it matters is your ego.
6. You still haven't told OP what you think happens when you use Red Eye Orb. You're all about setting the record straight, but you never actually set it straight and instead you spend all this time chasing after me. Shows your priorities.

@OP and whoever will read this after:
Red and Cracked Red Eye Orb is pretty much meant to be region bound. But there's a slight chance that for whatever reason, could send you to a different region you're at due to perhaps a false recognition of your current whereabout.
Please discount my initial wording in my first reply that worded so offensively bad that it reeks misinformation; focus on my follow up posts instead.
However the invasion would still work, the whatever region your red/black phantom spawn at the host would be there. So just carrying on as usual.
So don't worry about the location too much. Just focus on finding the host, wherever you end up at.
this being a forum doesn't mean you should make things up and try to pass them off as educated guesses or fact or anything in either area code. next time, don't wait until someone calls you out on not actually knowing the subject before you stop posting, do it before you take guesses and use them as answers.
