Chaos Witch Quelaag glitched for me

Whenever someone summons me to help them with this boss, on my screen she's frozen in the place she starts in during the boss fight and doesn't have much health. I'm not sure if I'm able to damage her at all, any help on how to fix this would be greatly appreciated.

Validate steam game files always first? But sounds like a network issue, try to reboot modem\router. Run a connection speed test and report back. If using wifi try to play using an ethernet cable instead. Other than that just guessing because like all good steam players, nobody posts system specs...
