I literally can't hit this boss with my build.

Havel's set
15+ Zweihander
Zero chance of making contact with any swings.

It literally does only one attack. If it hits me, I can't heal because it repeats too quickly. If it doesn't hit me, I can't do anything anyway. It's too quick for me to counter.

He literally spams one attack over and over. I dodge it, I swing, I miss. He repeats the same attack. I dodge, I swing, I miss. I dodge, I swing, I miss. I dodge, I swing, I miss.

He only does one attack. I can't get anywhere near him. This is futile.

I know, get gud, skill issue.

I don't want to git gud at whatever this is.

I got him on literally the next attempt. It must have been bugged or incredibly bad rng. I had 3 attempts where it was stuck in a loop of doing the one attack no matter what.

Nope he basically never even moved from where he is when you come through the fog.

I had a similar problem in one ng playthrough I think it either bugged or he got caught and couldn't move and wasn't taking damage because it almost like it didn't know what to do if it was in combat or not.

Had to restart the game which was fine as I didn't lose anything it just more or less registered as if I homeward boned out.

I also want to see if the new smo and orni cheat of being shoved through the fog door by a dark knight works because they are frozen in place and you can get an easy win

His legs are technically are very far from his head so he doesn’t have to move much. Probably the issue.

Exactly. It was caught in a loop of doing that move where he rapidly extends and retracts his limb/head/serpent. His entire body aside from that one limb was very much out of reach in the lava. I imagine if you were using a knife you could dodge and hit him in that time but there was no chance with a greatsword.

Exactly. It was caught in a loop of doing that move where he rapidly extends and retracts his limb/head/serpent. His entire body aside from that one limb was very much out of reach in the lava. I imagine if you were using a knife you could dodge and hit him in that time but there was no chance with a greatsword.

I see. He’s always been a bad boss so the important thing is it’s over.

Try rolling, even with fat roll you can reduce the damage a lot. Also, remember to move to the other part of the map, you will have to do a single jump to don't touch the lava, and when you get there, you have a lot of space to move around and evade attacks. That, or cut his tail to get his ring and being now able to walk in the lava with low damage.

I don't know if I am the most incoherent rambling madman ever to post on this forum, or if nobody bothers to read. I beat the boss already and dodging was not the issue. I didn't even have fat roll. I had 40 END already + Havel's Ring.
