It was on sale during the Autumn sale. Check SteamDB and look at its sale history and the gaps in between the sales technically means it was in fact just on sale. It went back to full price on December 4, 2024.

According to SteamDB, last year their sale was February 8th. It has never dropped below $19.99 in fact none of them have dropped below 50% including Elden ring and Sekiro.

I don’t think $39.99 is bad for the amount of time you can get out of this game (me personally I can easily climb to. 80-200+ hours on a single character) but Dark Souls III is where I draw the line, $84.98 is just way too expensive for a game that came out in 2016 even if it is really good.

I agree. On sale it’s 42.49 which is a bit more acceptable.

FromSoftware sales are always disappointing, I find
There are newer and more popular games out there that get bigger discounts during sales
