How do I get invaded

Haven't got invaded once in this game yet, pve only is incredibly easy and boring. I've died maybe 2 times so far and am at blight town as a sorc, does this game have a recommended level to be invaded? I don't understand there not being a single invasion in the early parts of the game when I saw a bunch of ppl to summon for the first boss and have done a decent bit of farming on the 1st boss to join the sun bro before continuing on... anyways pve seems to be popping but almost no invasions, I got invaded more on ds2 and you can have 99 lifegems in that dumb game.

you need to be human to be invaded. use a humanity, then reverse hollowing at a bonfire, and online functionality will be available until you die.

I'm human it's how I summon ppl if I see em with their signs near the bosses, I see a lot of ppl for bosses I just never get invaded which seems weird.

You should have a specific soul level and a weapon upgraded.
When your weapon is not upgraded, you can only match with people that have an upgrade range from 0-5.

If you upgrade your Weapon to +5 you have a range from 0-11.

Most PVP Players will be in Darkroot Garden tho, and the meta pvp level is 80-130.

You need to be around level 100 to be in that range. Low level players most likely wont do PVP, and super high level players wont either. Also be aware, that this long time after the release, not a lot of active dedicated PVP players remain. Thats why you should go into areas that actually have some PVP Covenants. e.g. Darkroot Garden. You will get invaded there for sure, because players will probably want to farm their covenants by invading.

Also, Blighttown isnt necessarily far into the game. Dont understand what is boring about PvE. You should play a different game mate.

And, the obvious question? Why dont you invade yourself? Why are you waiting for someone to invade you? You want PvP? Then just do PvP.

Of course fighting a dumb npc with scripted attacks is boring compared to real pvp, I've played all the soul games for the most part and the pve is always boring what makes me want to carry on is the surprise invasions that make the game interesting. just a bit disheartened that it's so infrequent in this one is all. That's crazy u can have such a wide dif in weapon levels in this one compared to the other one and still not that many invade... guess I'll end up just twinking out a char and stomping new players in this one to get my pvp fill, thanks.

If you want early game PvP, you can join several covenants.
Forest Hunter is easy to get. Then you can equip the cat ring and just progress in your game, you'll get summoned to invade the forest.
Watch out for gravelord signs and interact with them to invade the gravelord servant. On low level they are to find often in Burg. Mid level in Anor Londo. That's more active at weekends.
You can also become a Gravelord Servant yourself quite early. Only needs to enter the Catacombs and find the covenant there. But this covenant has some restrictions, you can only be the gravelord in an area so long as your boss is alive.

Why are here only few low lvl red invaders ? That's because you need skill to enter this covenant. The usual lazy twink invaders can't beat 4 Kings with low weapon upgrade. Thank god, otherwise the early areas would be flooded with twink invaders, so they are quite rare.
When you want more action as host: progress to Anor Londo and hang around there in human form.
Also use dried finger.

You're coming up on Sen's Fortress and Anor Londo, both of which are pretty fun for invasions. Try to stay Human as much as you can in those zones, especially for the bosses.
