Duplication glitch no longer works?
I've played this game a lot but never tried this so I tried it today.
Got 999 arrows.
moved relevant item second in inventory under estes.
Dropped 999 arrows
cancelled
scrolled to brightness
Hit A plus RB on controller
Screen is correct
quit, then 999 items screen
Are you sure?
Yes.
Game quits out so didn't work for me.
And coming back into game, item has been consumed.
Did I do it wrong? Does it still work and I'm wrong?
This morning wife said" You're weird, and technology just doesn't work for you sometimes"
She's right....... and it hurts sometimes.
Can I get confirmation? Works or not please.

So any idea why it didn't work for me? did I skip something and/or why did it consume the item? Any idea?

I find it easier to do the glitch using M&KB and controller. This video explains the technique on PC:

Thanks for that reply. That is different than the one I tried. I can't do it now, but I'll try again tomorrow. Still can't figure out why it didn't work the other way. Did everything right, got the right screen prompts and it didn't work.

im unable to do it, everytime it quits to main menu and the soul gets used :(

The M&KB version is a lot more reliable and easier to pull off once you get the timing down, I've tried both.
