Manus cheese not working?

Using Longbow, with Hawk Ring, and Wooden Arrows.

So I 100% have the range to hit him, and visually it looks like the arrows are impacting him, but no HP bar comes up, no damage numbers come up.

Did they get rid of the manus cheese?

I figured it out, the issue was that I was hitting the floor by him and confusing it for hitting him, my bad >.<

You can still cheese it if you have enough dex Parish bow might be better due to 65 meter range less affected by dmg drop off than a longbow.

Feather arrows have a 25% range and will likely deal much better dmg at that distance.
