Edit: all that I mentioned above is also a problem with their regular attacks (not just the leap attack). They all hit very hard and will knock you back.
I wish I could run past the crystal soldiers, but I need to kill the blue golem first to get the DLC pendant. Again, my problem is at SL1. In a normal playthrough no regular enemy really bothers me.
Ghost house is easy to deal with: just don't go there. Kill Ingward from below, as you said xD
Same with Bonewheels btw, I just don't deal with them at all. I learned how to completely avoid them on the way to Pinwheel and I use the bridge dragon skip for Priscilla.
edit.
no actually, 1) skeleton wheels... just hell...
1) Greatshield of Artorias;
2) Greatshield of Artorias;
3) Any shield;
4) Don't be stupid;
5) Melee stugger;
6) Parry both arrows and sword hits;
7) Any shield;
8) Attack them out of their agro zone with ranged attacks;
9) Bow;
10) Bow, Spider Shield, Greatshield of Artorias, pre-toxining yourseslf with less lethal dung pies;
11) Greatshield of Artorias.
I'll try this method...
1) run in a snake pattern with semi-wide curves
2) for a dog they are very slow, "just running" works well and the dogs in the tomb are out of reach from you if you hug the wall when you run past them
3) reg. dogs need to be dealt with("Any shield", indeed) unless you know all the "run past a Cerberus" techniques in Resident Evil games
4) "don't be stupid" is almost enough; try "not" standing in the cursing clouds they spit
5) Crest/Havel's shield and walk in or fire something back at them(they won't move but you can) or roll straight through the magic arrows(like a pro)
6) I already explained the worst knight before. IMO, best tech = backstab or parry/riposte once you know the timing, for ALL knights
7) Dragon crest shield; wait for them to attack, don't face them in groups EVER, even with full havel's and a dragon crest/havel's shield
8)...I have no idea, every time I ever killed one was waaaaaay too one-sided. Either I was under- or over-powered so I can't gauge. They can be cheesed with projectiles from behind trees they can't chase you through, but they turn and walk away
9) ghosts are only hard in groups, so separate them and don't let them hug you
10) snipers can't hit a moving target, even one climbing a ladder
11) just like ghosts but they are more of a threat and don't require transient curses. They can also be parried(quite easily), but are best lured out and killed 1 at a time. In archives entrance pick a side of the elevator(I hide on the left) and arrow/bolt them one at a time to get their attention, then fight
Most of them can't detect you until a couple feet if you are silent and invisible, whether by a spell and a ring or both rings. Doesn't work on ghosts.
Taurus' can't hit/grab what is between their legs, unlike the Iron Golem.
I just throw poop at them, 2 hits and they are toxic
In reality for me Skeleton Wheel ("keep rollin' rollin' rollin' rollin'").
