As for the summoning aspect I don't like NPC summons because their AI is simply bad. And moreover I completely don't understand what's the whole deal with saving him everyone is fussing about. Most NPCs go hollow at the end of their questlines because that's the reality of cursed land of Lordran. Deal with it.

Zero...! Solaire probably understood your intentions... And since he is one of the great heroes and probably from the distant past... nothing bad will happen.

Now that you have taken possession of his armor, shield and sword... You have a wonderful opportunity to continue his hard work!

Help people, throw lightning bolts and... Praise the Sun!

P.S. This is just one of a billion billion possibilities, so don't be afraid. Since it's just a game, have fun and if you do something good for others, Solaire will be proud of you.
