I just need order of locations without any help like "kill this one, collect that one". Just order of locations.

Literally anywhere but catacombs

Otherwise a huge portion of DS is exploring and choosing your own path, especially early game, so mapping out where to go sucks a lot of the joy you're going to have out of things. Just avoid skeletons, and go where you think things look interesting.

For instance, if you come into an area, and you get crushed (you died) immediately it is best to rethink your path. Explore other areas until you have upgraded your weapon and/or armor to deal with that which killed ya'.

There are many locations you can go to.

But I recommend below IF using a melee(str and or dex build).

Very slight spoilers.


1: Firelink Shrine>Undead Burg>Undead parish find the blacksmith(he sells basic upgrade mat) and grind your chosen weapon to +5 finish the area.

2: >Mostly optional area but recommended to go to early Darkroot Garden.(not farm from the blacksmith).

After the early darkroot garden is done optionally explore some of the Darkroot basins for a certain shield and kill a certain sub-boss inside the watchtower for a strong ring.
Both are very useful for melee builds.

3:>Mandatory lower Undead burg>Depths>Blighttown.

(You can upgrade your weapon further up to +10 via large titanite shards.)

4: Go back into the "Asylum" (optional area)>Sens Fortess>Anor Londo>Painted word(optional area).

5: Go to upper Darkroot garden past the 20k soul cost sealed "door" and kill the boss.
20k key is bought from the Blacksmith.

6:Go to New Londo ruins and do stuff now you can upgrade a weapon to the max level.

7:Go into Demon ruins and Lost Isalith finish the area.

8:Go into the Catacombs, Tomb of Giants.
A certain helmet from Lost Isalith will help a lot with light.
The occult club can be"downgraded" into divine+5 so you can perma kill skeletons.

9:Finish the Darkroot basin and rescue the NPC.
Go into Duke Archives and Crystal Cave and finish the area.

10::Access the two optional secret areas from Blighttown, you can do them anytime after finishing Anor Londo.

11::Use a guide to enter the DLC as it is very complex finish the DLC:

12:Finish the final area.

Killing the final boss auto makes you into NG+ so keep that in mind.
