I've played this game for years and still haven't had anyone move swap in pvp.

No, they didn't, move swap was a thing back in PTDE and was possible on day 1 of the remaster launching, I know because I tried doing it (not for pvp just curiosity). I have not seen anyone ever do this in pvp, it's a bit like tumble buff it's harder to pull off than it looks and most people who want to cheat at pvp don't want to spend time getting good at anything.

This is pretty impractical for PVP. It's slightly more practical than tumblebuffing since that barely exists in Remastered. But it's going to be not likely you'll run into it very often other than when people are just flexing. You'll see this in speedruns though.

The timing of it and the method are very similar to PTDE's duping so odds are if you can do that you can do this. You can learn to do PTDE's duping pretty quick.
