if i skip the artorias dlc am i missing out on anything really good?

im on my first playthrough and ive done pretty much everything but this dlc and gwyn. i have seen the bosses on youtube and i really dont think i would enjoy fighting them because im not a very big fan of super fast bosses in the main the souls games with some exeptions of course (godfrey radahn and pretty much every bloodborne boss)

Nah, you'll have problems Just with Manus or Kalameth maybe. Just keep playing and back to Gwyn if you didnt manage to beat them.

And yeah, you are missing the most challenge area in the game. If youre not here for that its better Just finish the game.

Good way to beat artorius

- Havel's armor
- Something to up your stamina (i.e. chloranthy ring or grass crestshield)
- Zweihander

You can use whatever weapon to fight artorious, but when he does his abyss power up, you can break his poise with a heavy attack from the Zweihander and he never enters his second phase.


rescue sif: follow the spectral cat to rescue sif. He can be summoned to help in the manus boss fight.

Manus is manageable if you can obtain the silver pendant which requires you to posses the sunlight maggot or the cast light spell. that silver pendent is really useful as it can protect you from his dark magic attacks, and the cast light spell will illuminate the arena.

seriously, this made the artorious DLC so easy, I beat Manus on my second try.

one of the best boss in the entire game yes but boss in ds1 suck , they got just the setting who was surpassed in 2024 because from gaemplay perpective they are boring

how to beat any boss in ds1:
20 estus
heavy armor
largest weapon you can find with lots of damage

tactics:
1) go hug boss
2) press attack
3) press heal
4) go back to 2
