You know you can just summon NPC, Witch Beatrice, right? She soloes this "boss".

beatrice's summon sign is hidden in a little bush at the bottom of the tower, she's a huge help if you want to fight this guy again on a repeat playthrough

Yeah I appreciate everyone needs help with video games but please just summon Beatrice.

It's impossible to overstate her total and complete annihilation and obliteration of Moonlight Butterfly on her own without you having to do literally anything.

Tarkus can every once in a while lose his fight, but I have never seen Beatrice even be attacked by the boss once.
