potato pc
Hello, my pc is not a beast and i can't play ds1 ( what a joke knowing i run ds2 pretty well) so do you have recommendation on how i can run this game, mod or something else ?

Neither version Dark Souls, PtDE, or Remastered have very high requirements.
So, first off, how is it failing; Does it start, or run, or what exactly.

Also, don't use cloud services (steam or anyone else) for the saves. Make sure your active anti-virus/malware white list the directory.

There is a solution for Potato PC. Install PTDE, install DSfix from Nexus Mods, then set the optimal settings with which the game will be played comfortably. This way I was able to play on an ancient laptop without any problems.

If your PC is struggling to run this game, I don't think mods will help

Most likely, his computer does not meet the DS:R requirements, which are higher than PTDE. This happened to me before too. PTDE with DSfix might works just fine, worth a try.
