lost izalith shortcut still not opening

i just spent hours straight farming humanity and i gave 30 at once to chaos servant, i only got the pyromancy and not the shortcut opening. I went on discord and someone said that i'd have to kill a boss for it to open due to a bug, i did yet it still didn't work. I even have rank +2 on my menu

I have checked your achievements. The way to the shortcut is blocked by a yellow fog. This will go away only when you progress further in your game. You need to obtain the Lord Vessel in Anor Londo and place it on the altar. The short way: give it to Frampt. Long way: give it to Kaathe.
Until then don't leave your chaos covenant or you'll lose your rank.

thanks, i've beaten the game before, just not on computer, i didn't know this because i let soilare die in my first playthroguh

No worries, this time you can save him. Just open the shortcut a bit later, everything is right.

When you can get to the shortcut, then go there. Do no go near Lost Izalith, including going near the structure near the lava, or heading towards the boss. Sometimes there's a bug that might register you being in Lost Izalith when you haven't been.

That said, you can farm this things for Sunlight Medals if you need then (ie, for the miracles).

How can I open the shortcutß I give her 30 Humanity and get rank 1. I give her again 30 Humanity and get Rank 2 but I also get the spell from Rank 3. I am still rank 2. Door can not open. I already give her over 60 Humanitys.
i know normaly it have to be just 30. Not 60.
So how can I open that door?
